atsec (Beijing) Information Technology Co., Ltd (short for “atsec”) is pleased to announce that atsec has become one of the PCI Global Executive Assessor Roundtable (GEAR) members for the 2024 – 2026 term. The PCI Security Standards Council (SSC) GEAR is a direct communication channel between senior leadership of payment security assessors and PCI SSC senior leadership, with the goal of securing payment data globally.
atsec was first selected to serve as a PCI GEAR member in 2018 during its initial establishment, and has been on the roundtable ever since. In 2024, atsec China is one of 33 organizations joining the PCI GEAR in its efforts to bring industry, geographical, and technical insight to PCI SSC plans and projects on behalf of the assessor community.
PCI SSC Executive Director Gina Gobeyn notes:
“The Global Executive Assessor Roundtable provides industry expertise and perspectives that influence and shape the development of PCI Security Standards and programs. We look forward to working with atsec in our efforts to help organizations secure payment data globally.
We need voices from across the assessor community to help ensure we are providing the best standards and programs to support the industry in protecting against today’s modern cybercriminal. We’re pleased to have atsec on the PCI SSC Global Executive Roundtable to provide critical insights and help us build on the great efforts that are already being done to increase payment security globally.”
